Dates and Travel

The arrival and departure dates for the program are listed below.

The program will provide a free shuttle service between Denver International Airport (DEN) and Colorado State University on the above dates, but participants are responsible for their own airfare and flight arrangements to and from the airport. Participants who are driving to the program should plan on arriving at the Piñon Hall lobby of Colorado State University on Sunday afternoon between 3 PM and 5 PM. ¬†Finally, students should plan on departing to travel home after breakfast, with flight departure times no earlier than 9 AM, on July 7, 2018.

Application Deadlines

The deadlines for applying to the 2018 Prove it! Math Academy summer program are as follows.

Submit your application by March 17, 2018
You will be notified of your admission status by April 1, 2018
Admitted students must accept by April 8, 2018
Rolling admission for any remaining open slots until June 1, 2018

All applicants who apply before the March 17 deadline will be given equal consideration, and any late applications that are received after this date will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Students who meet the application deadline will hear back about their admission decision — either accepted, waitlisted, or neither — no later than April 1. Admitted students must accept or decline the offer by April 8. Waitlisted students who are subsequently admitted will be given an extended deadline to accept or decline based on the time of the offer.

Tuition

The tuition for the two-week program is shown in the table below. Applicants who submit their completed online application by the March 17 deadline are considered Regular Applicants, and those who submit after the deadline are considered Late Applicants.

Flights are not included in the price, but we will provide a free shuttle service from the Denver airport to the campus. The tuition covers dormitory expenses, classroom reservation fees, meals, field trips, and instruction.

Students whose school is a chapter of Mu Alpha Theta may be eligible for a summer grant towards their tuition. For more information, see the Mu Alpha Theta Summer Grants website.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations made on or before May 15, 2018 are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made after May 15, 2018 will not be refunded. In the event of a serious and unexpected emergency, please contact us at info@proveitmath.org, and we may be able to accommodate a full refund if the request is made early enough in advance. Such situations will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
